Week 1 | Website Analysis 1

Website Analysis #1 | http://stephanieraeder.com

Stephanie's website is clean, simple, and modern. I think it is very user-friendly and overall successful in delivering it's message. Her role as a recent graduate and what she aims to achieve in her field is very clear and to the point.

However, her website is lacking a resumé or even any information at all about her past work, internships, projects, etc... I think it is very important to let potential employers know where you have done work before and to showcase it to let them know how successful you were at completing your jobs!

In addition, I think that her "about" page could be a little bit more polished and she might consider adding links to her social media accounts. Overall the portfolio page is very successful and much of her editorial styling is featured on her website to showcase her current work.

Website Analysis #2 | http://www.mjneventsanddesign.com

The first thing that struck me about MJN Events and Design is that it is run by one woman but she writes as if they are an entire crew or production team for an event design company. I think this could be very misleading to potential clients. I would recommend revising copy on the entire website.

Aside from that, the only other suggestion I would make would be to have a more distinct logo in the header. She offers a resumé which is nice. The website is clean and it's easy to navigate, it is just a little out of date with it's color and font schemes.

Website Analysis #3 | http://www.cotiegoozee.com

I think Cotie's website is great. It is very easy to navigate, it has all of the necessary elements that an employer would need to know more about her work and what her skills are, and in addition, the overall website is very organized and self explanatory. Cotie offers her resumé in her about section, and then added a link to download a copy of it which I think is great.

In addition, the tone of her website is very consistent all throughout the pages and everything is very complimentary. She even designed a logo that is cohesive with the rest of the websites look.

The only recommendation I would have for this website would be to personalize the 'about' page a little bit more, but not over the top!
